Dinuba Chamber of Commerce hosts annual business awards banquet for local entrepreneurs and leaders in the community

DINUBA – Dinuba residents and neighbors came together on a Friday evening to celebrate the successes of the business community. 

The Dinuba Annual Business Awards Banquet hosted by the Dinuba Chamber of Commerce on April 26 recognized the work of community leaders in the business and nonprofit sectors and honored upstanding residents as well. Valley Strong Credit Union sponsored the event at the Dinuba Memorial Hall, and attendees dressed to impress for the “black and white affair” theme. 

Awards recipients included: Tulare-Kings Youth for Christ Campus Life, Nonprofit of the Year; Dinuba High School student Elizabeth Hernandez, Teen Citizen of the Year; David Fry, owner of You-Bee’s Pizza, Small Business of the Year; Ruiz Foods and the Ruiz for Kids Foundation, Large Business of the Year; Tulare County librarian Stephanie Buckridge, Dinuba Woman of the Year; and Christian Worship Center of Cutler and Dinuba lead pastor Jose Angel Menchaca, Dinuba Man of the year.
