TULARE COUNTY — The Tulare County Office of Education is calling all current 6th through 12th graders to the stage for its upcoming production of “Freaky Friday.” Auditions are scheduled from April 29 to May 4, with all relevant details available on the company’s callboard.

“Freaky Friday,” a musical adaptation of the beloved Disney film, follows the chaotic and heartwarming story of a mother and daughter who magically swap bodies. The two must navigate a day in each other’s lives, leading to comedic antics and touching moments as they gain a newfound appreciation for each other’s challenges and perspectives.

The Tulare County Office of Education (TCOE) encourages interested participants to prepare by listening to the DisneyMusicVEVO playlist, which features songs from the energetic show. This preparation can help auditionees get a feel for the musical’s lively and engaging score.

In addition to the “Freaky Friday” auditions, TCOE is also accepting registrations for its younger actors. The Frozen Kids OnStage Summer Camp, aimed at incoming 1st through 6th graders, is nearly full. Another offering, The Parent Trapped Pre Show, provides additional opportunities for young performers to get involved this summer.
