REEDLEY – The pilot of an ultra glider suffered unknown injuries when he crashed his glider at Reedley Municipal Airport.
The accident happened between 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on June 16 at the airport west of Frankwood Avenue north of the city.
The unidentified pilot was alert and speaking with first responders at the scene near the main runway just before noon. He was transported to the hospital and his current condition is unknown.
There were no details surrounding the cause of the crash. The pilot was treated at the scene by paramedics with Reedley Fire, and Reedley police also responded to the scene.
