FRESNO – This weekend, Woodward Park will be the site of an invasion with some extraterrestrial canines taking a stroll through the park.

On Sunday, Oct. 8, Fresno Bully’s annual Bully BOO! Walk kicks off at 9 a.m. – registration opens at 8 a.m. This year’s theme for the annual Boo Walk is “Alien Invasion.” Woodward Park is located at 7775 Friant Rd in Fresno.

The event is open to all dog breeds. Participants are encouraged to deck their dogs out in their best sci-fi outfit for the two-mile walk around the park. Following the walk, owners and dogs can go trick-or-treating at vendor booths. There will be a costume contest judged by celebrity judges, face painting and a photo booth.

The event’s $20 registration fee includes an event t-shirt. There is also a $5 park admission fee. All proceeds benefit the Fresno Bully Rescue. The event is set to kick off in the Mountain View Picnic Area.
