TULARE COUNTY – The sheriff’s office has launched an investigation in a small, unincorporated community just east of Dinuba after a corpse was found in the back of a vehicle.
Just before 7:22 a.m. on Oct. 20, TCSO deputies were called to the 10300 block of Ave. 416 in Sultana for a body found. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found a man dead in the bed of a pickup truck, according to reports. Investigation into the circumstance is ongoing, as of report.

Oct. 14
Just before 1:30 p.m., TCSO deputies were called to the 38800 Block of Monson Drive in Dinuba for a shooting.
When deputies arrived, they learned the victim had been shot and then drove himself to the Monson Market for help. They found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds at the market, where he was then life-flighted to a local hospital.
