REEDLEY – A recent tobacco compliance check in the city led to the discovery that three local businesses were non-compliant for having tobacco licenses that weren’t up-to-date.
On Oct. 28, the Reedley Police Department conducted tobacco compliance checks throughout the city with grant funds allocated through the California Department of Justice Tobacco Program. Through the compliance checks, three out of four businesses were not in compliance and had expired tobacco licenses.
The following businesses were visited:
- Carniceria Michoacana, 1339 Manning Ave.: Expired tobacco license
- Super Save Market, 1312 11th St.: Expired tobacco license
- Downtown Smoke Shop, 1724 11th St.: Expired tobacco license
- No Limit Smoke Shop, 1630 E. Manning: In compliance
