VISALIA – The Visalia Branch of the Tulare County Library is set to welcome authors Jennifer J. Chow and Lorie Lewis Ham for a presentation and book signing, and fans and book readers are encouraged to attend and hear the authors speak about their newest books.
The signing is set for June 22 at 1 p.m. Chow’s book “Ill-Fated Fortune” is the first book in her new series, which is set in the Central Valley. Chow has been nominated for several awards such as the Agatha, the Anthony, the Lefty and the Lilian Jackson Braun Awards. She tends to write cozy mysteries filled with hope and heritage such as the “L.A. Night Market” and the “Sassy Cat Mysteries” series.
As for Ham, her book “One of You” – which is the second book in Ham’s “Tower District Mystery” series – comes out this month. A published author since her teens, her works include poems, articles, short stories and six mystery novels. In 2010, she became the editor-in-chief and publisher of Kings River Life Magazine.
