FRESNO COUNTY – As the general elections get closer and closer, candidates are looking to get in the race for local offices.Â
Now these interested candidates can get that process started as James A. Kus, the Fresno County Clerk/Registrar of Voters, announced that the nomination period has opened for offices in the Nov. 5 Consolidated General Election. The nomination period can also be extended to Aug. 14 for contests in which an eligible incumbent officeholder does not file.
