SANGER – A blown tire caused a vehicle to turn My True Realty in Sanger into a drive thru.
The accident occurred at 3:45 p.m. on Nov. 10. According to Sanger Police, as a Toyota 4Runner was traveling south along Academy Avenue, it blew a tire, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
The 4Runner left the road, plowed through fruit trees at the back of the property, and then crashed through the rear of the building before coming to rest out front in the parking lot.
Jessica Montag is a broker with the company. Montag told FOX26 News the accident could have been a lot worse.
“He went through the best way it could. There was no damage to the main power, the main water, the main septic, or the gas. It’s a clean hole,” she said.
The accident left gaping holes in the building.Â
Sanger PD did not release information on the driver, other than to say the individual was not injured. Neither drugs nor alcohol were involved.
