KINGSBURG – The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Agricultural (Ag) unit arrested three Reedley men after the trio burglarized a Kingsburg business three times on Thanksgiving Day, getting away with a haul of $40,000 in tools and equipment.
According to TCSO, the three thieves – John Rene Perez, 31, Hector Barr, 47, and Miguel Guerrero, 31, all from Reedley – broke into Nutrius, located at 39494 Clarkson Drive in Kingsburg. Their first robbery occurred at 4 a.m. They broke in a second time during the mid-morning and concluded their pillaging at 10 p.m.
With help from the Reedley Police Department and surveillance video, TCSO tracked down the vehicle involved in the heists. When the truck was detained, law enforcement found about $5,000 worth of stolen goods. The driver was arrested.
Law enforcement executed a warrant, which resulted in the capture of the two other suspects. Approximately $25,000 worth of tools and equipment were located as a result of the search warrant.
The three Reedley men were charged with commercial burglary, grand theft, possession of stolen property and conspiracy. Guerrero was also charged with committing a felony while being out on bail for grand theft.
About $30,000 in tools and equipment was returned to Nutrius.
