CLOVIS – Two powerhouse engineering firms have joined forces as Ruettgers & Schuler merged with Provost & Pritchard to combine decades of expertise and expand their impact across the state.
Bakersfield-based Ruettgers & Schuler Civil Engineers has merged with Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group to combine their expertise in civil and transportation engineering services across California. Leaders from both firms explained the benefits of joining forces, as well as their shared values, in an announcement from Feb. 3, in which they said this move will expand services to public agencies and private clients in the area.
Provost & Pritchard specializes in civil and agricultural engineering, environmental and land use planning, hydrogeology and geology, surveying, and construction management services in the areas of water resources, municipal infrastructure, agriculture, site development and environmental compliance.
“Ruettgers & Schuler has been providing quality civil and transportation engineering services for more than 40 years,” Ronald J Samuelian, President/CEO of Provost & Pritchard said. “We have had the opportunity to work closely with them for years and are thrilled to have them join our team to provide expanded services to meet our clients’ needs.”
Ruettgers and Schuler Civil Engineers, founded in 1980 in Bakersfield, is a consulting firm specializing in civil engineering services. The entity focuses on transportation and public works facility design and construction, right-of-way engineering, acquisition and relocation, traffic impact and transportation studies as well as railroad-grade separation projects.
Most of the firm’s work involves close collaboration with public agencies, including special districts, cities, counties and the State of California, through their public works or transportation departments.
