REEDLEY – Tickets for the 32nd Annual Rotary Club of Reedley annual auction and dinner are, once again, up for grabs.
Tickets are available at the Reedley Chamber of Commerce or from any Rotarian with the Rotary Club. The cost remains the same as in previous years at $60.
“We are committed to a lively atmosphere for our community to attend and raise funds for our coming Rotary year,” said club treasurer Robert Hubert in an interview with the Mid Valley Times.
Hubert said that each of the Rotarians is responsible for finding five donations to the auction. These range from gift certificates to local businesses to destination vacation trips. Proceeds from the auction go entirely to helping non-profit organizations in the Valley and far beyond.
The auction will also include a catered dinner featuring a variety of local area eateries, Hubert said. He added that the club is continuing to seek sponsors for the event.
“I think this will be a great event for people to go and see people they haven’t seen in a while,” Hubert said. “It is a fun and lively atmosphere and delicious food.”
According to Hubert, the annual auction would sell 400 to 500 tickets pre-COVID-19, but after skipping the event during the pandemic, seating has continued to remain reduced with just 220 tickets available.
Tickets will remain on sale until sold out. Hubert said that there are usually a few tickets typically available the week of the event. The event will be held on Saturday, March 22, at the Reedley Community Center.
