Kingsburg Business Park sign gets a facelift

KINGSBURG – The Kingsburg Business Park sign is sporting a new look after months of planning and execution. 

The sign on the 99 now rocks a fresh coat of paint, updated electrical and a new list of vendors. Following negotiations with the city council and local vendors, the project was approved in May and refurbishment efforts spanned the month of June. 

The construction of the highway sign was originally approved in 2004, and was to be managed by an LLC and owner’s association meant to maintain it. However, due to the recession and fee collection efforts coming to a halt, the LLC was dissolved and the sign became neglected. 

After working for over eight years on code enforcement and property owner challenges, the sign was eventually donated to the city in 2024. 

Following the acquisition of the sign, the city’s Economic Development Committee began to look at options for the sign’s restoration, working with local sign provider A-Plus Signs. 

One panel remains available for lease, and Kingsburg businesses interested in utilizing the advertisement space are advised to contact Economic Development Coordinator Jolene Polyack at 559-284-2421 to discuss rates and lease duration.
