REEDLEY – A rainy day did not stop residents from checking out Reedley’s two newest chain businesses.
On Oct. 14, both Chipotle and Dutch Bros Coffee opened for business along Manning Avenue, being among the first operational businesses in the developing shopping center. Chipotle’s kitchen and dining room bustled, and the line for Dutch Bros wrapped around the building with those excited to get some morning fuel.
Each location marked the occasion with balloons, and Dutch Bros was adorned with signage promoting its various seasonal drinks. In spite of the wet conditions, Dutch Bros employees could be seen outside taking drink orders and sparking conversation with incoming customers.
In celebration of the new Chipotle location, Reedley College students and Fresno State commuters can take advantage of Chipotle’s current promotion which is giving all college students 1,000 bonus points upon enrolling for ChipotleU rewards, and they will also receive 20% more points on every purchase.
The restaurant will also be bringing more employment opportunities to the area, with positions currently open through online applications.
As more businesses such as Wing Stop, The Habit and more prepare to open within the same shopping center, residents of Reedley will have no shortage of quick, delicious eats.
