REEDLEY – The Greater Reedley Chamber of Commerce is hanging their stockings in preparation for the city’s annual winter tradition.
Set for Dec. 5, the chamber is inviting the community to Pioneer Park for the Christmas Tree in the Park event and electrical farm equipment parade. In the leadup to the day’s festivities, the chamber is accepting vendor applications until Nov. 13 at 5 p.m.
The theme for this year’s event is “A Very Reedley Christmas,” aiming to capture the city’s hometown spirit with dazzling tractors, vibrant wreaths and other holiday delights down G Street.
“It’ll be a night for people to come out and see our beautiful town, and what Reedley has to offer,” said Diego Lopez, business support for the Greater Reedley Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a night of unity, and being able to come together and see how great different organizations and businesses in Reedley are doing.”
The festivities will take place from 5-9 p.m. The tree will be lit at 6 p.m., followed by the Reedley Lions Club’s parade at 7 p.m.
The chamber is looking for food and craft vendors, parade entries and information booths, with applications for each category available on the chamber’s “Events” page. Those interested have until the Nov. 13 deadline or until spots fill up, whichever comes first.
