FOWLER – After a brief break in their holiday tournament action, the Sanger Apaches dusted off their bats and unleashed their offense against the Minarets (O’Neals) Mustangs.
With the Fowler Easter Classic resuming after a day off, the Apaches didn’t miss a beat, trampling all over the Mustangs in a 14-1 day two victory at Kellogg Field on March 30.
Sanger previously defeated Dinuba 9-3 in their opener on March 28. In the first two games of the tournament, the Apaches have outscored both of their opponents by a combined score of 23-4. And in the process, the Apaches won their third game in a row, and have gone 4-2 in their last six games.
