Visalia police recover $150K worth of stolen property

Officers with Visalia Police Department arrest man for thousands of dollars worth of tools stolen from Fresno distribution center

VISALIA – A recently executed search warrant unveiled a significant cache of stolen tools, all valued at roughly $150,000 and believed to have been stolen from a location in Fresno County.

On Jan. 9, detectives with the Visalia Police Department served a search warrant at a home in the 600 block of W. Dorothea Ave., resulting in the discovery of a large quantity of stolen tools. These tools were found to have been taken from a distribution center in Fresno. 

As a result of the search, Justin Shaw, 35, was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property. The recovered property totaled $150,000 and filled a semi truck trailer.
