FRESNO – U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert recently announced that Ivan Sigmond, 47, of Clovis, was sentenced to 11 years in prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.Â
On Aug. 28, 2020, law enforcement officers obtained and executed a search warrant at Sigmond’s residence after identifying him as a source of methamphetamine supply in the Clovis area. When law enforcement carried out the warrant, they found nearly 30 pounds of pure methamphetamine as well as two handguns and an assault firearm.
The case was investigated under the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces.
