Elias DeLaRosa
He was the son of Emilio DeLaRosa Sr. who was born in Donna, Texas and Maria Leticia Roman Padilla DeLaRosa who was born in Monterrey Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Elias Moises (Monche) DeLaRosa is survived by his five brothers, Rey, Eduardo, Emilio, Eric, and Enrique and his beautiful one-year-old baby girl Olivia Emilia DeLaRosa.

1984–2023
He was an uncle, a nephew, a cousin, and a great friend to many. He was an avid Raiders fan and was well known as a hard worker, delivering pizza from Me-n-Ed’s for many years, then went on to continue working as a driver at FedEx. He was a lover of nature, a lover of music, a lover of life itself. Many people remember him as a “river rat” during the summer seasons, always cruising on the river singing country music, Tejano music or blasting corridos! He saved many lives on the King’s River, too, helping those in danger to get safely to shore on his boat, a truly selfless man. If he wasn’t on the river or adventuring through the mountains, he was enjoying life with his friends or family and he always insisted that he played the music, setting the tone to whenever he was at. He could go into a place filled with sadness and brighten up the room while putting a smile on everyone’s faces. He was that ray of sunshine that we all needed.
The tragedy struck on Sunday, June 11, 2023. The world went dark that day. We all heard and felt our hearts break when we got the news. He was taken from us so young; he still had so much left to do here. We were so blessed to have him for the time being, but now he is in heaven with both his mom and dad.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a Rosary said at 5 p.m. at Dopkin’s Reedley Funeral Chapel. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with interment at the Reedley Cemetery District.

1954–2023
Pam was a woman who gave greatly to her family, community and loved ones. She led by faith and example in her roles of mother, wife, sister, church member, colleague and community member. Pam retired from Clovis Unified School District in 2013 and continued working with school districts and agencies throughout the country to develop and implement better financial systems and processes. She loved working with people and traveling to new places. This did not stop her from being an active member in Sanger Rotary, advocate and participant in Relay for Life and the Leukemia/Lymphoma foundation, active member of Quail Lakes Community Church, and of course, grandmother. Pam loved spending time with her family and grandchildren more than anything. Camping, traveling, backyard cookouts, her grandchildren’s classroom and working in her flowerbed were just a few of the many things Pam enjoyed doing most with her family.
Pam was also a fighter. When diagnosed with cancer in 2015, she vowed to beat cancer and fought with everything she had. Pam never complained, never questioned why, but instead relied on her faith and praised God each day for her many blessings. She fought with faith, positivity and determination.
Services will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Quail Lakes Community Church, 10 a.m. A reception will directly follow.
