Juan Lino Acosta
Juan Lino Acosta, of Sanger, died on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024. He was 68 years old. Mr. Acosta was a laborer. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary said at 6 p.m. at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Sanger. A funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, followed by the burial at the Sanger Cemetery. Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Kathryn Duerksen
Kathryn Duerksen was born June 22, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas, to Edward and Mary Falconbridge. She passed away Nov. 11, 2024. Kathy attended Hope Kingsburg Mennonite Brethren Church. She had a huge heart for people, loving broadly and fiercely.

1953–2024
Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Duerksen, and by her parents, Edward and Mary Falconbridge. She is survived by her sister Rosemary (Steve) Miller of Wichita, Kansas; sister Melinda Martyn of Towanda, Kansas; brother Roger Falconbridge of Wichita, Kansas; four nephews; five great-nephews; and eight great-nieces.
Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at Reedley Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Kingsburg Mennonite Brethren Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy’s memory to Hope Kingsburg Mennonite Brethren Church Mission Fund, 1301 Stroud Ave, Kingsburg, CA 93631.
Antonio Guillen, Jr.
Antonio Guillen, Jr., of Parlier, died on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024. He was 36 years old. Mr. Guillen was a laborer. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Parlier, followed by a burial at the Parlier Cemetery. Wallin’s Parlier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Kathryn Heinle
Kathryn Heinle, of Clovis, died on Wednesday, Nove. 6, 2024. She was 91 years old. Mrs. Heinle was a homemaker. There are no services at this time. Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Ralph Joseph Lopez, III
Ralph Joseph Lopez, III, was born on Oct. 21, 1974 in Fresno. He died on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, in Fresno at the age of 50 years old. He was the son of Ralph R. Lopez of Reedley and Carole S. Collins Lopez of Oregon.

1974–2024
He is survived by his parents; his daughters, Roselind M. Lopez of Fresno and Annikah H. Lopez of Selma; his three step daughters, Courtney W. Martinez of Reedley, Brianna M. Whittington of Washington, and Arianna D. Delgadillo of Dinuba; his brothers, Matthew C. Lopez and Nathan A. Lopez both of Reedley; and his sister Cindy H. Paxton of Texas; his grandchildren, Christopher and Morrahjj Fields of Fresno; Harper and Robert Jr. Martinez of Reedley; Ronin Rodriguez and Teagan Wilkenson of Washington. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mary E. Lopez.
He fought an eight-month battle with cancer. He finished Modesto High School with some college at Modesto Junior College.
A viewing will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. with a Rosary said at 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and a funeral Mass from 12 to 1 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Church, 1060 F Street in Reedley, Calif. The burial will follow at the Reedley District Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Elk’s Lodge, 760 F Street in Reedley, Calif.
Rudy Cuevas Olivo
Rudy Cuevas Olivo, of Sanger, died on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024. He was 69 years old. Mr. Cuevas was a cement mason. A visitation will take place on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary said at 6 p.m. at Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, followed by the burial at the Sanger Cemetery. Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Juan Esteban Rodriguez Soria
Juan Esteban Rodriguez Soria, of Orosi, died on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024. He was 40 years old.
Mr. Soria was a dedicated police officer with the Parlier Police Department and a school resource officer at Parlier High School.
An honor procession will take place on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, from 2 to 2:15 p.m. at Dopkins Funeral Chapel in Dinuba and from 2:15 to 2:30 p.m. at the City of Parlier Police Department, and at 2:30 p.m. at Parlier High School.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 12 p.m. (next day) at his parent’s residence, with a Rosary said from 9 to 9:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Dinuba, followed by a burial from 2 to 2:45 p.m. at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.
He is survived by his two sons, his parents, his sister and two brothers. Dopkins Dinuba Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
