Gustavo Briseno

Gustavo Briseno, of Parlier, died on Thursday, April 3, 2025. He was 58 years old. Mr. Briseno was an owner of an AC company. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Parlier. Wallin’s Parlier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   

Donna June McConnell

Donna June McConnell, born Sept. 6, 1950, died on Dec. 12, 2024. Donna is survived by her daughter Carrie Ann Lawrence of Fresno, California. The estate is being handled by Kimberly Taylor, Fresno County and the Fresno County superior court. No services are planned at this time.

Juanita Muniz

Juanita Muniz, of Sanger, died on Saturday, April 6, 2025. She was 74 years old. Visitation was held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Wallins Sanger Funeral Home. Wallins Sanger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Noel Orozco III 

Noel Orozco III, of Sanger, died on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. He was 31 years old. Mr. Orozco was a technician. Visitations will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m., with a rosary said at 6 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Sanger at 10 a.m., followed by his burial at Sanger Cemetery. Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Joanna Ortiz

Joanna Ortiz, of Del Rey, died on Saturday, April 5, 2025. She was 30 years old. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Sanger. She was laid to rest at the Sanger Cemetery. Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Frances Ellen Pursell

Frances Ellen Pursell, died on Monday, April 7, 2025. She was 89 years old. Mrs. Pursell was a librarian. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the Fowler Cemetery at 11 a.m. Wallin’s Fowler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Michael Mark Requejo 

Mike Requejo died peacefully with his children by his side on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia. He was 69 years old at the time of his passing. Michael was the second oldest, to Connie Quiones and Frank Requejo. Mike was a Cutler native, but lived in Tulare to be near his job as a dairy farm worker. He enjoyed baseball, boxing, playing spades, oldies, watching the 49ers play, and being with family and friends. 

His kids will forever remember the values he lived by; respect, hard work, and family. Mike was known for being competitive, a jokester and a lover. He should have coined the phrase “What a dude” during his life as this term was used to describe anyone in the wrong. He was passionate about recycling, saving one can at a time. In his passing, his kids found peace and unity within each other just as he would have wanted. Mike Requejo’s memory lives on within his kids and eight grandchildren. We love you, Dad. Save us a seat.

Robert Rios, Jr.  

Robert Rios, Jr., of Fowler, died on Friday, March 28, 2025. He was 44 years old. Mr. Rios was a flooring installer. Visitations will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at Wallin’s Fowler Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church in Fowler at 10 a.m., followed by his burial at the Fowler Cemetery. Wallin’s Fowler Funeral Home is in charge or arrangements.  

Gilbert “Dobie” Sandoval

Gilbert “Dobie” Sandoval, of Parlier, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. He was 63 years old. Mr. Sandoval was a laborer. Visitations will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Wallin’s Parlier Funeral Home. Wallin’s Parlier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

William Curtis Spencer

William Curtis Spencer, of Dinuba, died on Monday, April 7, 2025. He was 53 years old. Mr. Spencer was a business owner. No services at this time. Mr. Spencer is survived by his wife, Sandy Spencer, one daughter and one brother. Dopkins Dinuba Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
