Shirley A. Brisco

Shirley A. Brisco, of Fresno passed away at the age of 91. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025 at 11 a.m., at the Presbyterian Church of Fowler. Wallin’s Fowler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Yuriko Ito

Yuriko was born 1925 in Tacoma Washington as one of nine siblings. She graduated high school in Tule Lake Relocation Center during WWII. This was also where she met her future husband, Ben Ito. They married and eventually moved to Reedley where they farmed for over fifty years.

A wife, widow, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by two daughters, JoAnn (William) Watamura, and Linda (Donald) Yamakawa; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was a member of the Methodist Fellowship Church and while actively farming, the Fresno County Farm Bureau and Farm Bureau Women. In her later years after the passing of her husband she found volunteering at the Reedley Senior Center very fulfilling.

She passed on at home a few days after celebrating her 100th birthday. Services at Dopkins Funeral Home were held Sept. 30, 2025, with burial at the Reedley Cemetery.

Andrea Ledesma

Andrea Ledesma, of Sanger, passed away on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025 at the age 69. Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 13, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6 p.m. at Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sanger, followed by a graveside service at the Sanger Cemetery. Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Robert Dale Morris

Robert “Dale” Morris, 74, passed away on Sept. 23, 2025, in Roseville, Calif., at Roseville Sutter Medical Center. Born on July 26, 1951, in Dinuba, California, Robert lived a life marked by passion for sports, for his faith, and for the people around him.

Family was central to Robert’s life. He is survived by three siblings, William Morris Jr., Josie “Marie” Chapman, and David Morris; as well as four children, Carrie Arnold (Allen), Angela Pitsch (Jeremy), Joshua Morris (Cheyenne), and Mathew Morris (April). His legacy continues through eleven grandchildren from Carrie-Holly Sursa (Levi), Megan Massie, Rebecca Baermann (Ryan); from Angela-Brigette Bates (Jim “Ed” Scheider), Savannah Pitsch, David Pitsch; from Joshua-Eros Morris, Sayalie Morris, Roxy Morris; and from Mathew-Ava Fairchild and Caleb Fairchild.

He now joins his parents, William Eugene Morris and Kathryn “Betty” Joe Morris (née Barnes), in eternal rest, along with his siblings, Katherine “Joann” Ingrao, Frances Earlene Canida, and Tammy Michele Morris.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. A graveside service will be held on Oct. 16, 2025, from 12 to 1 p.m. at Smith Mountain Cemetery, 42088 Rd. 100, Dinuba, CA 93618. A reception for family and friends will follow at WellSpring Christian Center, 205 N. I St., Dinuba, CA 93618.

Freddie Murrieta

Freddie Murrieta, of Fowler, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025 at the age 77. A funeral service was held on Oct. 3, 2025 at Wallin’s Fowler Funeral Home. Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home assisted the family.

Augustine Cabrera Perez

Augustine Cabrera Perez, of Caruthers passed away at the age of 93. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Riverdale. A graveside service will follow at St. Peters Cemetery. Wallin’s Fowler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Irma Perez

Irma Perez, of Fresno, passed away at the age of 91. Visitation services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025 at 9 a.m., with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m., and Mass at 10 a.m. all at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sanger. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery in Fresno. Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Silvestre Corona Ramirez

Silvestre Corona Ramirez, of Parlier, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at the age of 71. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, Oct. 9. 2025 at 6 p.m. at Wallin’s Parlier Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Parlier. The burial will follow immediately after at the Parlier Cemetery. Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
