Late rally falls short for RC men

Reedley College roared back from a 14-point halftime deficit, but came up short in a 76-72 non-conference loss to Canada College on Dec. 16 at RC gym. It was the final game of the 2023 portion of the schedule for the Tigers (4-8).

Freshman guard Jayden Abuyen (Centennial-Bakersfield) scored a game-high 17 points for Reedley, but the Tigers were unable to overcome four double figure scorers by the Colts (7-4) from Redwood City. Reedley also had four players in double figures as Quentin Allen scored 12 points, Kecian Primes had 11 and Kyriaun Davis finished with 10 points.

Reedley opens the 2024 portion of its schedule on Saturday, Jan. 6 with a 3 p.m. game at Bakersfield College to start a three-game road swing. The next home game will be a conference matchup against Columbia College on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
